About Me
I am a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of clinical experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. I am a faculty member and certified CPR instructor for the American Heart Association. I am also self-employed as a Nurse Health Coach and Independant Consultant.
When teaching CPR courses, I follow all AHA guidelines. I also use my experience as a nurse to deliver a unique approach to learning that caters to the needs of the student or organization.
As a Nurse Health Coach and Consultant, I offer my years of education and clinical experience to educate and assist clients with various needs including health & diet education, blood pressure and blood glucose tracking and education, chronic disease management and education, and post hospitalization careplan initiation. I have a passion for educating clients about their specific needs and helping them set realistic goals; and assisting them in making the changes needed to reach their goals, whether it be through changing their eating habits, adding exercise, modifying their daily routines or help them with making some of the more difficult changes prescribed by their providers to manage chronic disease.
